She was predeceased by: her parents, Eunice Lewis and Remsen; her husband John Daniel Stokes; her son Don Wade Cooley, Jr.; her siblings, Richard Lewis, Deborah Yarbrough and Patricia Limigoue; and her grandson Kody Wayne Cooper.
She is survived by: her brother Bruce Lewis of San Diego, California; her children, Tracey Hughes (Alan) and John Stokes (Stephany) of Bismarck; and her grandchildren, Kyle Cooper (Gail), Kyle Sheldon (Shay), Taylor Duncan, Ashton Duncan, Cheyenne Stokes, Kylee Stokes and Shelby Stokes. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
