She was predeceased by: her parents, John Hammonds and Flora Isom Hammonds; her husband Desmond Lynn Murphy, Sr.; her son Lynn Murphy; her son-in-law Pat Ballard, Jr.; and her siblings, Melvin Hammonds, J. W. Hammonds, Jack Hammonds, Ethel Hardin and Vivian Hammonds.
She is survived by: her daughters, Judy Ballard of Hickory Ridge and Karen Seabaugh (Steve) of Cherry Valley; her daughter-in-law Kim Murphy of Vanndale; her grandchildren, Michael Pruitt (Sara Beth) of Cherry Valley, Kayla West (Mack) of Niceville, Kaity Adams (Shane) of Harrisburg and Lori Ballard-Smith (Christopher) of Russellville; and her great grandchildren, Emma, Caden Adams, Parker, Raylan Pruitt, Meadow and Waylon West. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
