He is survived by: his wife Margaret McElroy; his children, James McElroy, Jr. (Sherry) of Grenada Mississippi and Anita McElroy of Vanndale; and his grandchildren, Chris McElroy (Ashley), Justin (Alli) and Baylee McElroy.
