She was predeceased by: her parents, Gene Barnes and Beulah Barnes-White (Patterson); her husband J. B. Karnes; her stepfather Herman White; her daughter Vicki Ward; and her children-in-law, Francis Ward, Jr., Lynn Murphy and Sheila Karnes.
She is survived by: her children, Randy Karnes of Vanndale and Kim Murphy of Vanndale; her grandchildren, Nicole Hicks (Jason) of Hazel Green, Ala, Kayla West (Mack) of Fort Lee, Virginia, Sara Ward of Truman, Dylan Karnes of Vanndale and Jeff Goff of Forrest City; and her great grandchildren, Hunter Hicks, Garrett Hicks, Tyler Hicks, Meadow West and Waylan West. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
