The passing of Wesley G Beaver of Van Buren, Arkansas leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on February 8, 2025 at the age of 88. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Lorena Burkhart Beaver; his parents, Johnny Walter and Mary Marie Beaver (Smith); his stepmother Delphie; and his brothers, Joe, Wayne Beaver and Donald Nuckolls.

He is survived by: his children, Janice Olson of Texarkana, Arkansas, Larry Beaver of Van Buren and Ronald Irvan of Washington; and his siblings, Betty Eckles of Alma, Christean Simmons of Alma, Mary Osman of Rudy and Arlis Nuckolls of Alma. He is also survived by six grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ocker Funeral Home (700 Jefferson St, Van Buren, AR 72956). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Ocker Memorial Chapel (700 Jefferson St, Van Buren, AR 72956).

“The Frick’s loved Wesley! He was the kindest soul. He was always there when I needed him. He would come and fix things for us, ate dinner with us often, bought us gifts, made sure we stayed in church and served as adopted Grandpa to our daughter. He came to many of her softball games. He went with us to Texas to get our new truck. He gave us some of Lorena’s jewelry when she passed. He recently just brought us a bucket of pecans. He was just a wonderful man that we loved dearly.”
