She was predeceased by: her parents, Ezra Hunt and Nettie Hunt (Byers); her husband Cleddy Gene Maxey; her son Bobby Moon; and her siblings, Vera Hunt Bratcher, Thelma Hunt Lehman, Lavelle Hunt Wallis, Marjorie Hunt Vandergriff, Sadie Hunt Daniels, Jean Hunt George, Floyd Hunt, Marvin Hunt and Kenneth Hunt.
She is survived by: her daughters, Jeannie Stem (Darryl) of Van Buren and Billie Sue Maxey of Red Oak, OK; her sister June Hunt McCann of Ada, OK; her grandchildren, Machelle Fogo (Mike) of Charleston, Kristyl Rios (Philip) of Texas City, TX, Kristi Jernigan of Sulphur, LA, Ricky Williams of Bowlegs, OK, Rusty Williams (Starla) of Texas, Colby Carpenter (Azaleah) of Wilburton, OK and Bobby Jason Moon of Ada, OK; her great grandchildren, Kailey Fogo Young (Connor), Michael Fogo (Kelsey), Kaitlyn Fogo, Joseph Jernigan, Landen Swire, Makana Jernigan, Trenton Dean, Justin Rios, Tayler Rios, Harrison Rios, Bradley Moon, Benyamin Carpenter, Aiden Williams and Cooper Williams; and her great great grandchild Evelyn Young. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home (4100 Alma Hwy, Van Buren, AR 72956). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home Chapel (4100 Alma Hwy, Van Buren, AR 72956). A committal service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Cedar Cemetery (7283 NE 1186th Ave, Red Oak, OK 74563).
