With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Thomas Larry Bethel of Van Buren, Arkansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 31, 2024 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Thomas shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Thomas farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arvil Bethel and Emma Bethel (Orene). He is survived by: his wife Jane; his sons, Tom Bethel (Teresa) of Victoria, Tracy Bethel (Samantha) of San Antonio and Paul Bethel (Adriana) of Vista, California; and his sister Brenda Gillum of Yarnell, Arizonia. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Ocker Funeral Home (700 Jefferson St, Van Buren, AR 72956). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the U. S. National Cemetery.
