She was predeceased by: her husband John Hembera; her parents, Alexander Johnson, and Polly Johnson, Sr. (Workman); and her brothers, Alexander Johnson, Jr., Michael Johnson and Patrick Johnson.
She is survived by: her children, Dena Allison (William) of Van Buren, Jeanna Hoover (Robert) of Oak Point, Texas and John Hembera, Jr. (Elaine) of Norman, Oklahoma; and her siblings, Judy Barr of Roxboro, Angela Rupp of Mountainburg, Stephen Johnson of Kaufman and Jack Johnson of Van Buren. She is also survived by six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
