Richard Lynn Gilstrap Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Richard Lynn Gilstrap of Van Buren, Arkansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 25, 2025 at the age of 68. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Richard Lynn Gilstrap to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Gilstrap and Sarah Gilstrap (Gentry); his siblings, Imogene, Ruby, Lonnie and Ralph, Jr.; and his daughter-in-law Jolene.
He is survived by: his significant other Kaye Gilstrap; his children, Amy (Gary), Brunchel (Brandy), Brett (Melanie), Jeremy (Tatira), Nick (Heather), Eric of Van Buren and Rachel (TJ); and his siblings, Doyle, Robert, Marianne, Linda and Hope. He is also survived by twenty-three grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren with two great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home (4100 Alma Hwy, Van Buren, AR 72956). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Butterfield Church (1302 N 30th St, Van Buren, AR 72956). A burial was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at the Mount McCurry Cemetery.
