It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Michael Shawn Cole of Van Buren, Arkansas, born in Fort Smith, Arkansas, who passed away on September 21, 2023, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Cole and Nancy Cole (Fisher); and his brothers, Eddie, Patrick and Shannon Cole.

He is survived by: his wife Patti Cole; and his children, Michael Matthew Cole of Howell, MI, Eric Cole of Springdale, Krystal Hill of Alma, Chris Burkhalter of Alma and Jason Burkhalter of Van Buren. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
