She was predeceased by: her husband Earl Curt; and her parents, John Upton and Dollie Upton (Yandell). She is survived by: her children, Valerie of Troup, Texas, Duane Newman of Roatan, Honduras and Robert Newman of Van Buren; and her brother Pete Upton of Gridley, California. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
