It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Juanita Angelina Wallace of Van Buren, Arkansas, who passed away on April 16, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Anton "Toney" Stermetz and Theresa Stermetz; and the father of her child Kendal "Bob" Thurman. She is survived by: her husband John Wallace; her son Rocky Thurman (Cui); her granddaughter Brittany Thurman of League City, TX; her stepson Marc Wallace of Willis, TX; and her sister Edith Dennis of Van Buren.

In her honor, a unique piece of Razorback memorabilia is being donated to the University's athletic department to join other items on display.
