He is survived by: his sons, Timothy Ray and Ralph "Butch" Ward; his brothers, Melvin and Wayne "Windy" Ward; his children, John Daniel Ward, Jr. and Tammy Douglas (Sam); his grandchildren, Michael Shane Ward (Christina), Dakota Dyaami Nashoba Ward, Ethan Cole Douglas, Rachel Dawn Ward and Caterina Deon Davis (Dustin); his great grandchildren, Braxton Leon Youngblood, Rawling Patrick Osburn, Layton Ridge Osburn, Leila Terry and Haisley Jayde Osburn; his stepgrandchildren, Clayton Rose (Megan), Leah Vaughn, Taylor, Hannah, Haley, Emily, Madison, Alexis, Teresa and Tiffany; his siblings, Sherman Ward, Daisy Perry, Marie White Eagle and Betty Sue Ward; and his daughter-in-law Michelle Ward.
