With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Azel Dennis Jr. of Van Buren, Arkansas, who passed away on June 2, 2023 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Azel Dennis, Sr. and Dorothy J. Dennis (Czarnikow); his siblings, Donnie Dennis and Doris Tanner; his former wife Sally Dennis; his daughter-in-law Jana Shook Dennis; his granddaughter Glory Morton; and his brothers-in-law, Jeff Jenkins and Dale Wilmot.
He is survived by: his wife Paula Dennis; his children, Jill Dennis of Fort Smith, Greg Dennis (Polly) of Durant, Kyle Dennis (Lisa) of Fort Smith and Curt Dennis of Fort Smith; his stepsons, Philip Morton (Kerry) of Van Buren and Barry Morton (Bonnie) of Van Buren; his siblings, Sharylon Gilstrap (Bobby) of Van Buren, Paula Hattabaugh (Darrell) of Mulberry, Bill Dennis (Irene) of Dyer and Cliff Davis of Georgia; and his grandchildren, Kylie, Sydney, Luke, Shiloh, Jolie, Pyper, Maxwell, Judah, Emma, Anna, Eliana, Peyton and Savannah.
