He was predeceased by: his wife Marilyn Ruth Carter Scott; his parents, Andrew Lee Scott and Gladys Ann Scott (Hammock); his son Andrew Scott; and his grandson Cole Nixon.
He is survived by: his children, Theresa Lynn Wann (Randy) of Muldrow, Sandra Cynthia Armer (Jim) of Dripping Springs and Terry Vince Scott (Melissa) of Short. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
