Ivestor Lee Van Matre Jr. Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ivestor Lee Van Matre Jr. (Van Buren, Arkansas), who passed away on December 3, 2024, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivestor Matre, and Cymanthia Van Matre, Sr. (Jacobs); and his sister Annette Stanley. He is survived by: his children, Charlene Massey of Fayetteville, Jessica Lewis of DeQueen and Daniel Van Matre of Alma; his siblings, Sharon Gragg and Leslie Van Matre; his grandchildren, Joshua Lee, Kei, Kaydence, Kyran, Conlea and Deuce; and his great grandchildren, Miles, Rowen, Kaiden and Tucker.

Visitation was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home (4100 Alma Hwy, Van Buren, AR 72956). A graveside service was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Quinton Cemetery.
