He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Powers and Mary Powers (Combs); his wife Susan D. Powers; his son Danny Ray Powers; and his siblings, Theresa Puckett, Donald Powers, Paul Powers and Billy Gene Powers.

He is survived by: his son William Powers of Moffett; and his sisters, Mary Wilson of Fort Smith and Karen Johnson (Tim) of Peoria, IL. He is also survived by two grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
