He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Johns and Hattie Johns (Williams). He is survived by: his wife Alwilda Johns; his daughter Janie Marie Barker of Van Buren; his brother Jimmie Ray Johns of Alma; and his grandchildren, Bobby Moses, William Wise, Tina Drost and DeAngela Shavalier. He is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren; and ten great-great-grandchildren.
