He was predeceased by: his father Guy Dean. He is survived by: his wife Gail Dean; his daughters, Janet King of Fort Smith and Debbie Dean of Fort Smith; his stepdaughter Dee Dechow of Tulsa; his son Duane Dean of Fayetteville; his stepson Ed Richmond of Fort Smith; and his siblings, Barbara Sneed of Alma and C. L. Dean of Alma. He is also survived by three grandchildren, one great-grandchild, six step-grandchildren, and four step-great-grandchildren.
