He was predeceased by: his parents, Harley Cooksey and Edith Montgomery (Butler); and his sisters, Rosemary Brown and Lou Ellen Sjaarda. He is survived by: his daughter Deborah Cooksey Avillion of Fort Smith; his brother Thomas N. Montgomery of Fort Smith; and his grandsons, Alex and Tony Avillion.
