She was predeceased by: her parents, Elvin Bennett and Harriet Bennett (Bell); and her brother Roger Bennett. She is survived by: her husband Jimmy Atwell; her children, Carrie Newman (Mike) of Lavaca and Karl Atwell of Van Buren; and her grandchildren, Karyn and Katlyn Atwell.
