As Erma departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Erma may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Erma leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her husband Howard House; her children, Tina Adams, Johnny and John Aaron; and her brothers, Tommy and Charles Smiley.
She is survived by: her daughters, Jody Hallman (John) of Van Buren and Wanda Martin of Mountainburg. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren, twenty six great-grandchildren and three great great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Ocker Funeral Home (700 Jefferson St, Van Buren, AR 72956). A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Ocker Memorial Chapel (700 Jefferson St, Van Buren, AR 72956). A burial will be held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at the Gill Cemetery.
