He is survived by: his wife Sharon Mellon (Neuman); his children, Gene Mellon Jr. of Camden, Dennis Cockrell of Richwood, Stacey Vaughn of Frisco and Alison Mellon of Austin, TX; and his stepson Matthew Robertson of Seattle, WA. He is also survived by five grandchildren and five great-grandchild.
