He was predeceased by: his parents, John Douglas and Beulah Leona Pinkerton (Dill). He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Kay Pinkerton (Bryant); his children, Deborah Kay Shelton (Steve) of Van Buren and James Douglas Pinkerton (Kim) of Fort Smith; and his brother Bobby Dean Pinkerton of Bakersfield, California. He is also survived by three grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
