He was predeceased by: the mother of his children Terre Delude; his aunts and uncles, Bernardo Woodson, David Woodson, Peggy Booth and Francis Salez; his grandmother Clara June Woodson; and also, Derotha, John Delude, Marcella Waymire and Ewing Waymore.
He is survived by: his father Michael Lawrence Braun of Reno; his wife Joy Braun; his daughters, Mercedes Paige (Joe Cantu) and Katlynn June Braun of Vian, Oklahoma; his stepdaughter Kyleigh Phillips of Van Buren, Arkansas; his siblings, Shaun Edward Braun of Fayetteville, Jackie Dawn Fritts of Gore, Jesse Dwight Logan Swafford of St. Louis, Joshua Joseph Swafford of Savannah, Georgia, Charles David Swafford of Pampa and Elise Bigrigg of Sparks; his parent Claire Woodson McDowell (Woodson) of Pampa; and his grandchildren, Alex Cantu, Lucas Cantu, Rhiannon Hubbard and Ayla Parvin.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sequoyah Memorial Chapel of Forever Memories Funeral Services of Sallisaw, Oklahoma (463505 OK-101, Sallisaw, OK 74955). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
