Betty M. Bettis Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 23, 2023, at the age of 88, Betty M. Bettis of Van Buren, Arkansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Charles "Chuck" Bettis; her parents, Floyd Barnard and Irene Barnard (Miller); and her brother Norman Barnard. She is survived by: her children, Jim Bettis (Michelle) and DiAnn Antone (Tony); her grandchildren, Tiffany Flores (Chris), Tejay Antone (Kelsi), Justin and Jordan Deuley; her great grandchildren, Jayden and Jaelynn; and her siblings, Charlie, Doug and Ruth Raper (Harold). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, and friends.
Upon her retirement, June 2, 2006, was proclaimed "Betty Bettis Day" by Mayor Ray Baker for her outstanding contributions to the education profession.
