We are sad to announce that on February 26, 2023, at the age of 90, Benny Van Matre Sr. (Van Buren, Arkansas), born in Edinburg, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Wesley Matre,; and his brothers, Wesley Van Matre, Jr. and I. L. Van Matre. He is survived by: his wife Anita Van Matre; his children, Cynthia Van Matre of Alma and Benny Joe Van Matre, Jr. of Bella Vista; and his brother J. D. Van Matre of Alma. He is also survived by three grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
