With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Rosa Murphy of Umpire, Arkansas, born in Raywick, Kentucky, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Rosa left this world on February 21, 2025 at the age of 81, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her husband Harold Murphy; her parents, Charles Gunter and Louise Gunter; her sisters, Marlene Gunter, Charlene Gunter and Betty Easley; and her son-in-law Tim Stennett.
She is survived by: her son Terry; her daughter-in-law Ann Murphy of Redwater, Texas; her daughter Sheryl Stennett of Vicksburg, Mississippi; her sister Barbara Harrison of Omaha, Texas; and her grandchildren, Billy Murphy, Brandi Freeman (Larry Collet) and Jessica Freeman. She is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Harrison Funeral Home (500 West Wl Doc Dodson, Naples, TX 75568). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Old Union Cemetery.
