With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Dwight Sharp of Umpire, Arkansas, born in Nashville, Arkansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 27, 2024 at the age of 75. He was predeceased by: his parents, Doyce Sharp and Alice Sharp (Hughes); and his brother Wendell Sharp. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Sharp; his daughter Angela; his son-in-law Joe Allman of Hot Springs; his son Michael; his daughter-in-law Brandi Sharp of Dierks; his grandchildren, Trey, Sarah Allman, Alex Sharp, Austin, Mickinzie Allman, Jacob, Kaylynn Sharp and Eli Sharp; his great grandchildren, Bella Allman, Kaylee Allman, Andrew Sharp, Kinsley Sharp, Landry Allman, Ellie Sharp and Archer Allman; and his siblings-in-law, Karen, Bill Wakley, Dennis, Becky Sirmon, Byrl and Charlotte Sirmon. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and many special friends.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Mount Zion Church (7669 FM1803, Athens, TX 75752).
