He was predeceased by: his parents, Onie Gean and Henrietta Gean; his children, Brittany Nichole Gean Gordon and Jason Michael Gean; and his siblings, Billy Joe Gean, Chuck Gean, Larry Gean, Winnie Lewis and Mary Cornell.
He is survived by: his significant other Charlotte Kay Simpson Gean; his siblings, Bobby Gean of Des Moines, Ronnie Gean (Carol) of West Memphis, Connie Gean of Searcy, Charlotte Massey (Jerry) of Greenbrier and Linnie Mae Eakers (Tootsie) of Ankeny; and his pet Marleigh. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
