It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sylvester Young of Turner, Arkansas, who passed away on April 14, 2024, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Matthew Young and Mary Young of Turner; and his siblings, Dorothy Gilcrest, Ethel Young Davis, Julie Young, Clenestine Young, Martha Young, Joyce Young, Hattie Wallace, Gloria Young, Edward C. Young, Hanson Young, Frankie Young and Henry Young.
He is survived by: his children, Velashia Craig (Arnell) of Marvell, Arkansas, Javon Young of Little Rock, Arkansas, Shavon Young of Little Rock, Arkansas and Sylvester Young, Jr. of Little Rock, Arkansas; his grandchildren, Joy Craig of Marvell, Arkansas and Jatavis Craig of Marvell, Arkansas; his sisters, Veria Young of Clarendon, Arkansas and Mary Lou Wesley of Conway, Arkansas; his close friend Annett Bennett; and his niece Teresa Young of Turner, Arkansas. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
