Verneal James Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Verneal James of Tumbling Shoals, Arkansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 25, 2025 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruby Leslie Hall and Agnes Rollins Hall; and her husband Howard W. James. She is survived by: her sons, David James (Lorraine) of Granby and Danny James (June) of Cabot, Arkansas; her grandchildren, Amanda Thomas and Andrew James; and her great grandchildren, Camron and Payton. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Roller-Crouch Funeral Home (510 E College Ave, Batesville, AR 72501). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Tumbling Shoals Baptist Church (160 Nelson Rd, Tumbling Shoals, AR 72581). A burial was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Rest Hills Cemetery.
