He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Barner and Covella Barner (Huskey); his wife Emmagene Barner (McLure); and his siblings, Billy Joe Barner, Charles Barner, Jr., Jimmy Barner, Juanita Parker, Hazel McLaughlin, Erma Pruitt, Jean Polston and Mable Sullivan.
He is survived by: his son Bobby Gene Barner (Cathy) of San Francisco, California; and his siblings, Paul Barner of Judsonia, Peggy Blankenship of Paragould and Sue Milligan of Memphis, Tennessee. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews; and a lifetime of friends.
