It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary McGinnis of Tuckerman, Arkansas, born in Newport, Arkansas, who passed away on July 18, 2023, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parent Monta Ray; his brother Michael McGinnis; and his wife Sandy McGinnis. He is survived by : his mother Laura Jean McGinnis (Gilliam) of Sheridan; his children, Gary Edwin McGinnis II (Coleda) of Gans, James Ray McGinnis (Christina) of Shady Point, Oklahoma, Julie Ann Ellis (Brandon) of Gore, Tina Lynn Smith of Tuckerman and Mercedes Osier (Nick) of McCrory; and his siblings, Timothy McGinnis (Angel) of Tuckerman, Cynthia Landers (Ellis) of Sheridan, Teresa Odom (R. J.) of Sheridan and Sandra Fry of Tuckerman. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
