He is survived by: his sons, Laird Parnell of Jonesboro and Trey Parnell of Tuckerman; his brother Larry Parnell (Murl) of Diaz; his mother-in-law Joyce Alumbaugh of Searcy; and his siblings-in-law, Billy Alumbaugh (Janet) of Bella Vista, Joel Alumbaugh (Chris) of Searcy and Myra Alumbaugh Long (Brian) of Forrest City.
