She was predeceased by: her parents, L. C. Emery and Louise Emery (Gates); her husband Alfred Simons; and her grandparents, Charlie, Loucille Gates, Tine and Irene Emery.
She is survived by: her brother David Emery (Tammy) of Pocahontas; her aunts, Carolyn Bailey of Tuckerman and Sue Huskey (Carroll) of Tuckerman; and her nieces and nephews, Tyler Emery (Elizabeth) of Maynard, Shawna Gail Talley (Ben) of Newport, Jennifer Burdett (Jonathon) of Georgia, Adam Green (Kristen) of Virginia and Ginger Willis (Matt) of Tuckerman. She is also survived by numerous great nieces and nephews and friends.
