He was predeceased by: his parents, Ed McGonigal and Mary McGonigal (Wilson); his grandson James David Robinett; his great grandchild McKaylee Nicole McGonigal; and his siblings, Anthony McGonigal, Murlene Lowery and Wanda Davidson.
He is survived by: his wife Molly Travis McGonigal; his children, Tim McGonigal (Carolyn) of Tuckerman, Susan Goff (Ronald) of Tuckerman, Pam Robinett (Joe) of Newark and Paula Jones (Brandon) of Tuckerman; and his siblings, Don McGonigal of Hot Springs and Patsy Williams of Nashville. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren, six great great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
