He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Evans and Lizzie Kirkland Evans; and his siblings, Arthur Evans, Grandville Evans, Odis Evans, Reverend George Evans, Elton Ray Evans and Annie Evans Gray.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Doris Bland Evans of Tucker, Arkansas; his children, Gregory Evans of Tucker, Lewis Evans, Jr. (Tronika) of Sherrill, Arkansas. and Brittany Reynolds Parker (Devon) of Sherwood, Arkansas.; his grandchildren, Marley, Kash, Legaci of Sherwood, Ja'Nelle, Grace of Tucker, Lewis "Champion" and LoveJai of Sherrill; his great grandchild Brukelynne of Tucker, Arkansas.; his siblings, Eugene Evans (Annie Ruth) and Rose Evans Strickland Perkins; his uncle Abraham Carpenter, Sr. of Grady, Arkansas.; his sister-in-law Leeann Evans of Pine Bluff; and his mother-in-law Bertha Bland of Tucker, Arkansas.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
