William Andrew Upton Obituary

William Andrew Upton, 78, of Trumann, Arkansas passed away at Arkansas Continued Care Hospital on Friday, March 8, 2024. He was born on March 31, 1945 to James Thomas Upton and Doris (Bilvary) Gregory. William was a Christian. He enjoyed playing guitar, singing, hunting, and spending time with his family.

Survivors include; six brothers: Jimmy D. Upton of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Bobby L. Upton (Tracy) of Trumann, Arkansas, Eddie W. Upton (Jeri) of Trumann, Arkansas, David R. Upton of Trumann, Arkansas, Lee Gregory of Texas, Jimmy Gregory of California; five sisters: Bonnie S. Upton of Trumann, Arkansas, Patricia A. Cleary (Mike) of Milan, Tennessee, Marie Hill (Randy) of Trumann, Arkansas, Carol Whitlock (Marion D.) of Harrisburg, Arkansas, Carolyn Holt (Jerry) of Texas; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends.

He is preceded in death by; his parents; his grandparents: I.R. and Fronia Upton; two brothers: James Thomas Upton, Jr. and Thomas Alvin Upton; and two sisters: Lavern Woodruff and Joyce Gregory.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Harrisburg Memorial Park in Harrisburg, Arkansas with pastor Shannon Tribble officiating under the direction of Faith Funeral Service.
