William Arthur Long Obituary
William Arthur Long, 75, of Trumann, Arkansas passed away on February 7, 2024. He was born on March 4, 1948 in Trumann, Arkansas to Elmer and Addie Bell (Ball) Long. He enjoyed fishing, woodworking, going to dances, being outdoors, and spending time with family and friends.
Survivors include; son: William Zach Long (Skylar) of Trumann, Arkansas; five brothers: Phillip Long (Deborah) of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Wesley Long of Trumann, Arkansas, Marlin Long (Etta) of Harrisburg, Arkansas, James Long (Donna) of Mt. Home, Arkansas, Kirk Long of Harrisburg, Arkansas; one sister: Deborah Peeler (Shane) of Harrisburg, Arkansas; step children: Deborah Allen (Matt) of Kennett, Missouri, Janet Rush (Brad) of Brookland, Arkansas, Jenny Fitzgerald of Columbia, Missouri, Terry Fitzgerald (Kim) of Lake City, Arkansas, Tami Fitzgerald of Harrisburg, Arkansas; seven grandchildren: Jensen Long, Rylee Allen, Kennedy Allen, Malia Rush, Vinny Rush, Kaylee Douglas (Hunter), Emily Fitzgerald; one great granddaughter: Claire Douglas; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends.
He is preceded in death by; wife: Shirley Long; parents: Elmer and Addie Bell (Ball) Long; three brothers: Gordon Long, Bryon Long, Eddie Long; and one sister: Annette Scroggins.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 17, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. at the Calvary Pentecostal Church with Bro. Rick Forbis officiating. The family will recieve visitors at the church from 1:00 p.m. until service time.
