It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia Evans of Trumann, Arkansas, who passed away on August 8, 2020, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Charles Elbert "Charlie" Evans; her sisters, LaWanda "Bootsie" Pankey, Harriet Ann Slinkard and Willa Dean Slinkard; her great grandchildren, Faith and Lucas Bruner; and her parents, Hiram S Slinkard and Esther Irene Metcalf Slinkard.
She is survived by: her sons, Danny Evans (Patricia) of Trumann, AR and Teddy Evans (Debbie) of Batesville, AR; her siblings, Bob Slinkard of Trumann, Howard Slinkard of Rogers, AR, Jerrie Sue Qualls of Rockford, IL, Judy Dunman of Lake City, AR and Nancy England of Trumann, AR; and her grandchildren, DeAnna Ballard, Amanda Walters, Andrea Bruner, Sara Bobbitt, Wesley Evans, Dustin St. John and Misty Sturges. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
