He was predeceased by: his wife Colette Marie "Candy" Whitman; and his parents, James Coleman and Janice Nadine Condrey Whitman. He is survived by: his children, Christy Whitman Davis (Dayne) of Walnut Ridge, AR, Vance Keith Whitman, Jr. (Edie) of Trumann and Robert Edward Whitman (Cheri) of Litchfield, IL; and his siblings, Janice Renee Dye, Lisa Gail Whitman, James M. "Mike" Whitman of Trumann, Jeffery Dewayne Whitman of Trumann and John Patrick "Johnny" Whitman of Trumann.
