He was predeceased by: his parents, James Madison and Gladys Phelps Blasingame; his stepmother Opal Blasingame; and his siblings, Wanda Glowscz, Dianna Osment, J. M., John Oliver, Vernon, Paul and Calvin Blasingame.
He is survived by: his wife Mamie Bea Crocker Blasingame; his children, Gary Blasingame (Darlene) of Grand Rapids, MI, Joan Mattson (Chuck) of Grand Rapids, MI, Sheila Hale (Dave) of Traverse City, MI, Jan Adomaitis (Dave) of Grand Rapids, MI and Barb Raymond (Bill) of Grand Rapids, MI; his siblings, Keith Blasingame of Trumann, David Blasingame of Florida, Nancy White of Jonesboro, Patsy Davis of Trumann, Katherine McMullin of Trumann, Marlene Hancock of Trumann and Charlott Baxter of Trumann; and his grandchildren, Ginger Blasingame, Matthew Blasingame, Johnathan Mattson, Ryan Mattson, Trea Raymond, Taylor Raymond, Cailey Mulder, Brett Rybiski and Shannon Quackenbush. He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
