He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Lemuel and Helen Frances Fraizer Gilbert; and his siblings, Sam, Johnny, Frank Gilbert and Brenda Sue Gilbert.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Gilbert; his son Scott Ray Gilbert of Trumann; and his siblings, Rex Gilbert of Paragould and Linda Ottawell of Memphis. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Delancey Funeral Home (508 Frisco St, Marked Tree, AR 72365). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
