He was predeceased by: his parents, Claud W. Taylor and Flora Pace Taylor; and his brothers, W. E. Taylor, Clyde Taylor and Billy Joe Taylor.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Frances Henry Taylor; his sons, James Edward "Eddie" Taylor, Jr. (Kari) of Jonesboro, AR and Gary Henry Taylor of Trumann; his siblings, Martha Riech of Baldwin, MS and John D Taylor of Golden, MS; and his grandsons, Zachary and Matthew Taylor. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
