With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gilbert Barnett of Trumann, Arkansas, born in Batesville, Arkansas, who passed away on October 15, 2021 at the age of 76. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Gilbert Barnett to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Russell and Velma Hutchison Barnett; his granddaughter Libby Grace; and his sister Evelyn Jones. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Creecy Barnett; his children, Brent Barnett, Amy Hall (Bill) of Jonesboro and Brittany Cunningham (Justin) of Jonesboro; his siblings, Lee Barnett of Jonesboro, Gerald Barnett of Jonesboro, Opal Jean Tice of Trumann, Genora Tice of Trumann and Maxine Bowers of Paragould; and his grandchildren, Courtney Goodwin (Brandon), Dillion Byram (Ashley), Cody Byram (Allison), Zach Byram (Kenzye), Preston Hall, Jacob Hall, Daymon Hall and Ethan Hall. He is also survived by eleven great grandchildren.
