David Ray Upton Obituary

David Ray Upton, 78, of Trumann, Arkansas passed away at NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital on July 6, 2024. He was born on June 12, 1946 to James Upton and Doris (Bilvary) Upton. He was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed traveling, hunting, and spending time with his family.

Survivors include; five brothers: Jimmy D. Upton of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Bobby L. Upton (Tracy) of Trumann, Arkansas, Eddie W. Upton of Trumann, Arkansas, Lee Gregory of Texas, Jimmy Gregory of California; five sisters: Bonnie S. Upton of Trumann, Arkansas, Patricia A. Cleary (Mike) of Milan, Tennessee, Marie Hill (Randy) of Trumann, Arkansas, Carol Whitlock (Marion D.) of Harrisburg, Arkansas, Carolyn Holt (Jerry) of Texas; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends.

He is preceded in death by; his parents; his grandparents: I.R. and Fronia Upton; two brothers: James Thomas Upton, Jr. and Thomas Alvin Upton; and two sisters: Lavern Woodruff and Joyce Gregory.

The family has requested private arrangements under the direction of Faith Funeral Service.
