He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben Lee and Nancy Jane White Ross; his children, Charles E. Ross and Nancy Marie Ross; and his siblings, Dorothy Reeves, Edna Mooneyham and Bud Ross.

He is survived by: his sister Pat Furman of Conway, Arkansas. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren.
