With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Billy Gean Ward of Trumann, Arkansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 11, 2025 at the age of 91. He was predeceased by: his parents, Rufus Cecil Sr. and Martha Mae Henson Ward; his wife Joann Ward; and his siblings, Charles Ward, Rufus Ward Jr., Ross Ward, Edith Shuburte, Ruby Mason, Tiny Ward, Polly Carter and Gladys McClain.
He is survived by: his daughters, Dianna Ward of Trumann, Belinda Holt (Robert) of Trumann and Connie Vance (Kenneth) of Marked Tree; his sisters, Linnie McNutt of Wichita and Betty Anderson (Bud) of Harrisburg; and his grandchildren, Brayden Smith, Kelsey Jackson (Heath), Miranda Beachel (Jeremy), Ariel Wisdom (Bradley), Meghan Holland (Chad), Kevin Holt (Cassie) and Breann Hawley (Jonathan).
Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Delancey Funeral Home - Marked Tree (508 Frisco St, Marked Tree, AR 72365). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at the Marked Tree Cemetery.
