She was predeceased by: her father Floyd Edward. She is survived by: her mother Macil Wright Fortson; her husband Jimmy Dale Karnes; her children, Jim Edd Karnes (Chrystal Morrison) of Russellville, AR and Kari Karnes (Marc Wilson) of Perryville, AR; her sisters, Phyllis McMahan (Kenny) of Trumann, Faye Halfacre of Trumann and Pam Duboise (George) of Trumann; and her grandchild Jordan Karnes.
